How Cold Is It?
I’m glad you asked. It was 7 degrees here last night. The high today was 40. It was 33 when I headed out the door to run this afternoon and the wind was calm. It was dark with I finished my 12 mile run around 6 pm, the temperature had dropped to 24.
How do you know all that? I’m glad you asked. Introducing the new weather station I got for Christmas.
The cool part is I can upload the information to the Weather Underground so you too can see what the weather is at my house. (I know you have been dying to know.)
I did make it to the Y during lunch and did a little work on the weight machines. I need to develop a plan but getting there was the goal for today.

Mon: 6 miles w/ 6 x 100m strides – 52:31, 8:40 pace
Tues: 12 miles w/ 7 @ tempo – 1:39:52, 8:19 pace
Wed: Rest
Thur: 12 miles – 1:45:58, 8:49 pace

Gee, Darrell thinks I’m geek enough to like this…well, he’s right!! All because I took a digital thermometer with me to the first marathon we ran a year ago December.
