A Full Tank

My department’s leadership team when out for “Christmas” lunch at Maggiano’s today. I tried to eat small portions but after eating five courses, I felt like I had to waddle to the car.

Needless to say running on a full stomach, three hours later was an interesting experience. Made it through 5 miles but was glad I was not going any farther.

Training for the week
Sun: Rest
Mon: Rest
Tues: 5 miles – 47:51, 9:33 pace
Wed: Rest
Thur: 5 miles – 47:37, 9:30 pace

    Two 5 milers in less than a week after RC. You are a machine! :)

    I managed a very slow 9.9 last night so I’m slowly creeping back and forgetting the pain.
