What a difference a week makes
This time last week I was in Chicago. As you know by now, it was hot. In contrast to this morning, it was 48 degrees when I headed out to run at 5:30.
Originally, I had planned to only run 10 miles but I had such a good run on Friday and I didn’t feel any lingering effects from last weekend’s “march through the city”, so I decided to run 13 miles. I just ran and let how I was feeling set the pace. I can always say I’m in “recovery mode”.
It was a good run and a great morning to be outside.

Wow. The good news is that the “forced march of Chicago” didn’t do any damage. You’ve had a good week.
Today was an awesome day to run…glad you could enjoy it. But, oh, to have had a day like this a week ago!!!
