Vacation Day

Since today is vacation day one, I got to run this morning. It was a balmy 71 degrees with 91 percent humidity when I headed out the door around 6 this morning to run 8 miles. The humidity was oppressive and my legs felt dead from the ride Wednesday night. Pushed through, but I was wet from head to toe when I got home.

    That sound like a pretty typical Richmond morning. My early run was 71° and 98% humidity. I do know what you mean about being wet from head to toe. It just pours off me in this kind of weather — I lose 0.5-0.75 pounds per mile running in the summer.
