Running and Praising God

A friend at work sent me a link to this video of Ryan Hall. The video was shot prior to last week’s Olympic Trials which Hall won in an impressive 2:09:02, besting the previous Olympic Trials record by 1:17.

In the past several months, I have read several articles about Hall. In all of them, the writer mentions Hall’s faith. This eight minute video of Hall working out earlier this Fall is a true inspiration as Hall strives to Run the Race that God has put before him….enjoy.

Wow! What an awesome video, David, thanks for posting it!!

This whole issue of “running becoming a god” is huge. One I’ve worked through (and did once more today with the renewal of the ITB injury). To hear Ryan articulate this so accurately and clearly is really cool.

Not to mention what a gift he has. Wow…smooth and solid, 5 minute mile after 5 minute mile.

    Thanks!!!

I’ll be at Rocket City as well.
