Done
For all intents and purposes, I’m done. It now is just a matter of time to the start of the race. I’ve run my last afternoon run, I logged all the training miles I can. It is now just be careful and don’t do anything that would keep me for making it to the starting line.
Ran an easy 3 miles this afternoon. The temperature was in the low 50′s but the wind was picking up. A front is coming in tonight and tomorrow that will drive the temps back down.
Even though Huntsville is two hours south of here, they are calling for a low Saturday morning of 25. Not too bad. It is to warm up to a balmy 55. Can you say, layers!
So here is the plan… I’m going to take Friday off. Take it easy around the house. Run a couple of miles in the morning and then head to Huntsville.

David – Best of luck Saturday!! I’ll send a prayer your way, and I’ll try to check to your blog while I’m in Vegas and see how you did. You have trained well for this, so go out there and have a blast! You’re gonna do awesome!

I think I saw you on course on Saturday. You were in all black just before 21 or 22…I was in green shorts/black shirt. I am sorry I didn’t say anything. I had my “game face” on… I hope you had a great race. I really had hoped to see you after the race – been missing your smiling face now that I’m not in contact.
