St. Jude Training – Week 7
I know…I’m a little late in doing my weekly summary. But, better late than never.
With the temperatures in the 70s to low 80s in the afternoons, it was a perfect week to run.
Was out the door Saturday morning by 5:30 to bang out 18 miles. Was slower than I wanted but I felt like I finished the week strong.
When I got home, Gayle had a bag of ice waiting for me! She is the best. An ice bath was just what I needed.

The weather on this side of the country has been just about perfect for running as well.
One of my coworkers was in the Franklin area doing the same thing I was doing in NY and Philly the week prior. Although I enjoyed those cities, I would have loved to had the chance to be in TN.
Another solid week of training. Save some food at the finish line in Memphis for the rest of us.

Fall came to Richmond, too. We’ve had great weather for about 2 weeks now. This morning was the warmest in several days but was still only 61° — Saturday morning, 7:00, it was 50°. Now that’s what I’m talking about!

18 at 9:44 is impressive…you are setting yourself up.
I’m interested, as we get closer, just what you are hoping to do in Memphis…you have a lot of experience and I’m sure you have thoughts.
