Plodding Along

Today was one of those days when it just felt like it was chore to run. It has been awhile since I had a run like that. I just felt like I was plodding along.

Sunday I ran 12 miles with Amy. It was her last long run before her first half marathon this Saturday. I know she will do great.

Speaking of Saturday, the forecast is for heavy rain the first part of the day. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that the worst of it will have moved out by race time.

Training for the week
Sun: 12 miles w/ Amy, – 2:14:19, 11:10 pace
Mon: Rest
Tues: 10 miles w/ 5 x 1000m intervals- 1:27:21, 8:43 pace
Wed: Rest
Thur: 8 miles – 1:11:33, 8:56 pace

I have no idea what to wear if it’s pouring on us.
I am afraid of getting too hot but if I get wet, I might get too cold.
    Decisions, decisions…

I hope your daughter enjoys her first half!
