Daily Run

Left work a little early this afternoon because my appointment at the eye doctor for “remedial” contact lens training. Today I didn’t have any problem putting the contacts in nor taking them out. Now, I just have to get used to them. I ran 4 easy miles this afternoon and it was great to be able to wear sunglasses and still see the smaller numbers on my watch. I still have trouble being able to read the newspaper. It just isn’t clear. Well, I go back next week so maybe the doctor will make some adjustments.

Listened to Phedippidations while I was running. The episode was on hill work. So even though today was to be an “easy” recovery day, I ran the quarter-mile hill in the neighborhood.

Training for the week

Thur: Rest Day
Fri: 4 miles – easy w/.25 mile hill – 36:36, pace 9:09
