Running The Race

It is hard to believe it is Friday. I am on vacation this week and next. I have spent most of the week painting my youngest daughter’s room. It has really been a saga. We started stripping the wallpaper in October and I am determined to get it completed. Removing the wallpaper was not easy and I had a serious patching job to do. Then Laura Anne wanted a two tone paint job with a stripe with a checkerboard pattern in the stripe. (We as still negotiating on the pattern.)

Ran 5 miles this afternoon. We have had light rain most of the day but it cleared out this afternoon. It is still warm for December. It was 55 degrees when I ran. I have really been enjoying my new iPod shuffle and listened to Phedippidations today during the run. I couldn’t believe it when Steve featured Lana’s Marathon Journey. I can’t believe I know someone famous! Go Lana!
